On August 20, President of the Republic of Abkhazia Raul Khadzhimba had a meeting with Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Rashid Nurgaliyev.
The President greeted Rashid Nurgaliyev.
“The intensity of cooperation between Abkhazia and Russia in many fields, including questions of security and the economy, is growing. It should be noted that the situation on the state border along the Ingur River became completely different. I am confident that there are no alternatives to this path”, - said the Head of State, in particular.
Rashid Nurgaliyev expressed confidence that the strategic partnership aims to develop both states intensively. He also congratulated the President on the upcoming Day of the international recognition of the independence of the Republic of Abkhazia.
“The economy, security and the cultural field – all this confirms once again how close our countries are. August 26 is an important day and a big holiday. I would like to congratulate you and your people on this holiday and to wish you health, good luck and lots of friendly ties”, - said Rashid Nurgaliyev.
Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Abkhazia Mukhamed Kilba and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Abkhazia Aleksey Dvinyanin also participated in the meeting.
On August 20, Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Rashid Nurgaliyev arrived in the Republic of Abkhazia with a working visit.
