On June 19, President of the Republic of Abkhazia Raul Khadzhimba went on a working trip to the villages of the Ochamchira District.
The Head of State inspected the progress of the construction of a water supply system in the village of Chlou. Head of the Department of Capital Construction Igor Mikvabia and Head of the contractor organisation “Prommontazh-service” Dzhumber Narmania reported to the Head of State about the implementation of the project to build a water supply system in the village of Chlou. The President requested the construction workers to comply strictly with the schedule.
“I warn you, if these works are not completed by September of this year in accordance with the schedule, everyone who is involved in this project will be held responsible”, - stressed the President.
The President also examined the location of the construction of a secondary school in the village of Tkhina. Head of the construction company “Vefa-stroy” Lasha Butba reported to the Head of State about the progress of the construction.
“We have built the second floor. Tomorrow we will start building the roof. The building material has arrived, it is already at the railway station, today we will unload it and bring here. We will complete the roof and start the full interior decoration. 14 classrooms for 120 students will be situated here”, - said Lasha Butba.
Head of the contractor organisation remarked that there have been no delays in the financing of the construction and that all works are being carried in strict accordance with the approved schedule.
The President also examined the location of underground galleries for water drainage in the village of Myku. Water from the underground galleries supplies the city of Ochamchira through the main water supply system.
Deputy Head of the Department of Capital Construction Astamur Dzhikirba informed the President that to determine the degree of destruction of drainage walls and their subsequent restoration, it is necessary to carry out studies, in particular, hydrological surveys.
The President stressed that everything should be done to fully restore the underground galleries.
