Raul Khadzhimba conducted a work meeting dedicated to the activization of activities of the Ministry of internal affairs and its divisions in towns and districts of the country. The heads of town and district bodies of police reported the Head of state on the situation related to the crime control and infringement prevention. Raul Khadzhimba underlined the importance of strengthening activities on gathering and analyses of rapid data related to criminals and also noted the importance of strengthening the institution of district militia officers. He noted that the work of the Ministry of internal affairs has to be conducted in enhanced regime, especially considering it is the beginning of tourist season. The President instructed the Ministry of interalaffairs Beslan Khagba to strengthen systematic patrolling in towns and districts of the country, and the personell staff of the Ministry to transfer to in hanced variati on of service, to provide security 24 hours a day both on the highways and in inhabited localities, in particular at places of mass gatherings of tourists. In the course of the meeting the work of the State Motor vehicle Inspectorate and patrol duty service was discussed. The President instructed the leadership of the Ministry to prepare proposals on abolition of inspection of private vehicles, but at the same time strengthen the activities on systematic technical inspection of those vehicles that carry passengers and cargo. The President instructed the leadership of the Ministry to prepare proposals on strengthening the measures of a menability in relation to citizens that systematically violate rules of the road, especially those individuals that were arrested for driving in alcoholic and narcotic intoxication. The President offered to consider temporary arrest as one of the measures to punish violators of the rules of road with the subsequent confiscation of vehicle. The Security Council Secretary Muhamed Kilba also participated at the meeting.
