Raul Khadzhimba met the delegation of the representatives of Abkhaz diaspora in Turkey, led by the chair of the Federation
of Abkhaz culture centers (ABKHAZFED) Dzhengiz Koch (Ashuba).
The delegation arrived to Abkhazia to participate in the events, dedicated to 70th anniversary since the day of birth of the First President of the Republic of Abkhazia, founder of the modern Abkhaz state Vladislav Ardzynba.
In his welcome address, Raul Khadzhimba noted: “We have to understand today that if it weren’t for Vladislav Ardzynba, there would be neither our state, neither the victory. A lot of youngsters who came from the republics of North Caucasus, Turkey, Jordan, etc. stood shoulder to shoulder with us during the war to defend the Motherland”.
Dzhengiz Koch (Ashuba) passed his warmest wishes to the President from Abkhaz brothers in Turkey.
In the course of the meeting, where the chair of the State Committee of the Republic of Abkhazia on repatriation Vadim Kharaziya was also present, a wide range of issues concerning the strengthening and development of relations with Abkhaz diaspora in Turkey and other countries was discussed.
