On September 20, Deputy Head of the Administration of the President Adgur Lushba read out a congratulatory address of the Head of State Raul Khadzhimba to President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov at a military parade in Tskhinval in honour of the celebration of the 28th anniversary of the Republic of South Ossetia.
Dear Anatoly Ilyich!
Allow me to congratulate you and the entire brotherly nation of South Ossetia on the national holiday – the Day of the Republic of South Ossetia.
On September 20, 1990, the Council of People’s Deputies made one of the first steps to independence and international recognition.
After the tragic events of 2008, the leadership of the Russian Federation recognised the independence of the Republic of South Ossetia which once again confirmed the aspiration and the many years of struggle of the Ossetian people to win the right to build a sovereign, democratic and independent state.
The relations of friendship and cooperation that exist between our states develop successfully and become filled with new content. I would like to assure you that the leadership of Abkhazia will continue to make efforts to achieve fruitful cooperation in all fields for the benefit of our nations.
On this festive day, I would like to wish you, dear Anatoly Ilyich, strong health, prosperity and successes in office, and to the brotherly nation of South Ossetia – peace, well-being and prosperity!
